Colette Brabant

National Figure Skating Coach Choreographer

Colette is certified level 3 and level 4 choreography with Skate Canada Association.

As a competitive skater, Colette participated at the national senior competitor in singles in 1980/81. She also achieved Canadian, American and ISU gold medals for figures, free skate and artistic tests.

She trained with several Olympic and World skating coaches including Sheldon Galbright at the Cricket and skating school in Toronto,  Tommy Litz at the Lake Placid NY skating school and Peter Burrows in Lond Island, New York.

As part of the Montreal Ice Ballet company for 10 years, she had the opportunity to travel widely, appearing on the ice stages around the world. One of these memorable events includes the inauguration of the first ice rink in Cairo, Egypt.

Within more than 40 years of experience, she coached competitive singles as well as pairs skaters at national and international competitions. She also worked with many recreational skaters towards a deeper enjoyment of their artistic and athletic practices.
